Current Employees

Open Enrollment for Supplemental Coverage is held during the last quarter of each year, and your benefit changes take effect January 1st of the following year.

Open Enrollment for Medical Coverage is held during the first quarter of each year, and your benefit changes take effect April 1st.

The only time you can make changes to your benefits outside of Open Enrollment is if you experience one of the following Qualifying Events:

  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Death
  • Spouse's change in insurance eligibility due to gain or loss of employment
  • Change in your employment status (Full-time to part-time)
  • Dependent loses or gains insurance eligibility
  • Marriage or Divorce
  • Legal Separation

Qualifying Event Changes must be made within 30 days and the change must correspond with the Qualifying Event experienced.
